Capstone On-Campus is the leader in managing on-campus student housing for non-profit owners, which includes higher education institutions. Along with our campus partners, we implement and support custom management programs that best reflect the education philosophy and goals of the institution. Our management team members have experience working on-campus and most have a degree in higher education, student affairs, business, or social services. They take pride in developing close relationships with our campus colleagues, pursuing excellence, and providing remarkable service.
The key here is “on-campus”; we work for, and with, universities to assist them in managing their on-campus housing. When you walk into a Capstone-managed community, you will find it operates very similar to a traditional university building. Our Director and Assistant Director positions (titles may vary based on needs of the campus) offer you the chance to develop your professional skills in the areas of supervision of full-time and student staff, student conduct, programming, facilities management, budgets, marketing, and leasing. Capstone On-Campus will afford you the opportunity to use the skills you have already obtained, while allowing you to foster new skills and experiences to help you grow professionally.
Responsibilities as a Fiduciary
COCM is a privately-owned management company, which gives us the freedom to act in a fiduciary manner on behalf of our university and owner partners. We make decisions based upon doing what is right for all involved, without the distraction of shareholders, market moves, or personal gain. We also do not answer to shareholders or a development company owner, hold ownership interests in any on-campus community we manage, or manage competing off-campus communities.
